Cedar Fence Installation in North Fort Worth
Most fences in North Texas are built to a price: pressure-treated pine, round steel posts, galvanized nails, and a crew on to the next job by Thursday. They look fine for two summers.
Kedros builds a different fence. The difference isn't decorative. It's in the wood, the posts, the fasteners, and how deep the posts go.

Why western red cedar
Kedros is named for the Greek word for cedar tree, which tells you where we stand. Western red cedar naturally resists rot, insects and warping. It outperforms the pressure-treated pine, spruce and Japanese cedar most of the industry uses, and it does it without chemical treatment.
In Texas heat that matters more than almost anywhere. A board that resists warping is a board that still looks straight in year five.
The posts are the part nobody sees
A fence fails at its posts. We anchor with PostMaster steel posts instead of wood or standard round steel. They carry a much higher wind rating, they sit inside the fence structure so it still reads as a wood fence, and the manufacturer's warranty outlasts the fence itself.
Longer posts, set deeper. More depth means more stability and more wind resistance. It's the cheapest insurance a fence can have.
Driven, not poured. Posts are driven straight into the soil instead of set in dug holes full of concrete. No concrete spoil across your lawn, less disruption, and a faster install.
Stainless fasteners, every time
Every wood-to-wood connection uses stainless steel, never standard galvanized. Galvanized fasteners rust, and rust runs down a cedar picket in a streak that never comes out.
The details you notice after a year
Less picket exposed at the top and bottom, which cuts down on warping as the wood weathers.
A staggered nail pattern across each picket: cleaner to look at, and it spreads tension more evenly.
Gates framed with triple compression so they don't sag, hung on through bolts instead of lag bolts so they still swing true years later.
A sagging gate is the most common complaint about any fence, and it's almost always decided on install day.

Getting a price
Every fence is quoted in person, free. What moves the number: how many feet of fence, height (6 ft or 8 ft), how many gates, the ground it's going on, and whether there's an old fence to replace.
Fewer jobs at a time
We deliberately take on fewer builds, so every post is set right, every board is aligned, and every gate swings true. It also means the calendar fills, so ask about dates early.
